Dear colleagues and friends, members of the Red Cell Club and the East-West Iron Club,
It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to all of you as we prepare to gather for the upcoming combined meeting of the Red Cell Club (RCC) and the East-West Iron Club (EWIC), scheduled to take place at the SMC Campus Center of the University of Maryland in Baltimore, from October 27th to October 29th, 2025.
Baltimore, known as Charm City, is a city steeped in history, innovation, and culture. From its world-class medical institutions to its thriving waterfront and diverse neighborhoods, Baltimore offers a unique and inspiring setting for scientific exchange and collaborations.
The agenda of our annual meeting will be crafted as usual to encompass a diverse range of topics in the field of erythropoiesis and iron biology, ensuring that every participant finds relevance and inspiration in the presentations and discussions that unfold.
At the conference, you will have the opportunity to attend exciting oral and poster sessions, a keynote lecture, as well as round-table discussions. As we reflect on the critical impact our work has on the lives of patients affected by red cell and iron disorders, we hope this event will be an enriching experience for all attendees to help advancing our field and fostering collaboration and new connections.
